I am trying to access my webpage through Frontpage 2002. I have been able to do this for a while without errors. Now, when I try to get in, I get the following error:
Sever error:Cannot open "we80.cnf":No such file or folder.
What am I doing or is there a problem with the server?
JHB
I'm getting this same error even AFTER reinstalling the extensions.
What's worse, after reinstalling the extensions my site gets served up without any header, footer or shared borders!
Powweb, this is very frustrating!
What's the solution and when?

Read the post that Starr announced the installation of new FP server extensions to accommodate FP2k2.
Then, reinstall (not 'uninstall') your FP extensions in your Ops area.
Yes, I read the post earlier and then reinstalled the extensions as suggested.
However, I'll do it again and report back. Greg

I think we're all getting that right now. At least I am. I'd also assume that Powweb is looking into it but we have to remember that it's not like flipping a switch and everything works :)
If you're having this problem then make official contact with tech support. If everyone does that then i'm sure it will get proper attention and be resolved.
My site is still working fine and what I did was FTP the pages to the site instead of publishing through FP. Keep in mind, once you 'publish' with FP all your extensions are installed. From then on, unless you make massive changes to your pages, you can upload new pages via FTP as long as you upload any graphics that go with them as well.
Try FTP'ing your web pages (all of them is you wish, not just the new or changed ones) to your server and see if there's any improvement in how they look.
