PLEASE HELP!
Yours is working outreaches. Mine isn't though. All I get is this
http://eggo.i.am/ works fine, but I am using our name serves.
If the ".am" folks allow you to use "i.am", you need to make sure they have delegated “eggo.i.am” to our name servers for your site to work. The temporary URL is only good for 30 days.
Also, you never order mySQL, so I am not sure why your saying “it doesn’t work” in a mySQL thread.

The problem appears to be with the domain name and the way you are using it. Here's the data sent back via a DNS lookup outside of Powweb's name servers.
Authoritative Answer: No
Recursion Available: Yes
Truncated (partial answer): No
Answer:
A-record for eggo.i.am.:
IP address = 216.27.94.80
TTL = 5 Minutes
Authority:
NS-record for i.am.:
DNS server = ns-1.ampira.com.
TTL = 5 Minutes
NS-record for i.am.:
DNS server = ns-2.ampira.com.
TTL = 5 Minutes
P.S. Looks like i.am is already registered to someone else.
Ah, so now I hafta purchase something else now your saying? This is my first time purchasing a host (been using tripod and all that). Dumb it down for me a lot ok? :)
If you signed up w/ the CNAME of eggo.i.am, you must either control "i.am" or have the rights to use "eggo.i.am" for you to be able to host that domain here at Powweb.
If you do not, you will need to choose another domain you DO have control over and use it instead.
We will waive the fee to change your domain name if it has been more than 30 days.
i.am is a redirection url. I own the name, but I don't control i.am. I might just buy the $30 new name sometime this week then :(

I recall this thread from a few weeks ago. ;)
Some said it was ok, and all you needed to worry about was the legal rights to "eggo".
A few of us said you needed to buy a domain name. :rolleyes:
Not often I get to say "I told you so" :cool:
No no, it's something else, not the legal rights to the name buddy :)
