FTP Question

Is there anyway I can Delete folders with files in them? It always tells me I can't delete a non-empty folder. I need to delete an old installation of PostNuke, and this is gonna take a LOOOONNNNNG time to do one folder/sub folder at a time :(

Try a different FTP program

I have been using CuteFTP and it allows mr to delete directories with files in them

Most FTP programs won't allow you to delete folders with files in them (for your protection).

There a some out there...but most of them don't. Just highlight the list of files in the folder and delete them...you don't have to do one file at a time.

Some FTP programs don't allow you to, some do it by default, some prompt you first, and some have a seperate option to do a "recursive delete".

It all depends on your FTP program. If that is a feature you really want, get a new program :)
