The way these servers go up and down I gave up.... I opened visual basic and figure I might as well program instead of worrying about the web sites......

Trinity,
You're not a fool... and as it's been said... have a little patience. :)
Rome was not built in a day. PowWeb has made some BIG changes in the past several months... giving SSL away for free... reducing the cost of mySQL... totally moving to a network operations center...
These types of things all have been done, but residual effects sometimes take a little while to show up and be corrected.
For example... the mySQL problems were tied to the lowering of the cost of the service. When it was lowered, MANY more people signed up for it. The extra pressure on the database caused some problems until the staff could add onto it and fix it.
But they will be addressed. You just have to give it a little time. :) I've been here a year... yes there has been a little downtime on my site, but overall the uptime and the performance has been VERY good. If you're here for the long-term, I think you'll see what I'm talking about.
I've been with Powweb almost 3 years and by far they are the best host I have used overall.
Even with the recent outages and problems, I still would recommend them to my friends, family and collegues.
