Changing background Color

I have some .jpg and .gifs that have white background and would like to change it to match my page background?

Is there a simple way to do this? And how?

Tired of looking at black text on white background.....

What graphic programs do you use??

Can you just redo the image?

Hi Berk,

I have the Dreamweaver MX that includes Flash, Fireworks but never used them before. I also have Photoshop V6.01 but havent loaded it.

I havent done anything with graphic packages before. I am a raw as a steak for this project.

Point me in the right direction.....

If its 'clean' text...you can make the image have a transparent background.


Or just create an new image...time to learn those new programs
