View Full Version : Ricksta.net: feedback and suggestions
I am looking for feedback and suggestions regarding my website (Ricksta.net) because it has been online for around half a year now, but still, no one is using it. I need some suggestions to make everything more attractive to the public eye, especially with The SisHood. I mean it had been submitted to so many search engines etc., already, but I need more traffic, you know? Feedback and suggestions would be appreciated (layout and everything). Thank you.

I am tired now too.. just returning from the web page. Exhausted. Why would people go to the web page? What is there for them? Maybe you can start saying stuff in the forum and people will respond to it. Like a daily journal orsome thoughts and opinions. It's kind of strange to go into a totally empty forum and just say something. Why would people return to the web page otherise? I have seen the whole thing, why would I go back? The content seems to be lacking big time. Seems like you have alot of time on your hands.
The begining page it wasnt really clear what I had to click on or where I was going to go. Kind of odd layout. Plus everything kept opening up in its own windows, that was annoying. Plus frames look bad. With the main focus on the small frame to the lower right.. It doesn't work.
You need to really get something good people want to see or read about on the page or no one will show up.
First, I'd go through all your site documents and change <body> to <body bgcolor=#ffffff> . The default color for your browser is probably white, which would render your site just fine, but my browser default color is gray and all your text graphics come through with nasty white jaggies. I'd also use a little pop up or some text to clue the purpose of each of your three main site sections. I may want to go there I may not want to go there but give me a clue rather than forcing me to go there. I'm not sure you have any firm basis for the site other than chat and you lack a common cause, other than yourself, that might engender a common cause. The site is extremely sterile. Few reasons to stick around. The interview with your sister doctor sounds somewhat invented. Doctors just don't spring up but what ever.
Now is this a guy site about gal things or a gal site by a guy. Or please clarify.
