What do I do now? I don't see any help or instructions for the SSL package. I will probably get some documentation from the credit card company we are using, but I got this confusing page in my "ops" after I signed up for SSL, and I would appreciate any help deciphering it.
Thanx,
Lee
Hi Panamag8or,
I hope I'm not the bearer of bad news but I don't believe Powweb supports having your own encryption certificate, unless I'm mistaken they only offer use of their own certificate.

my mistake, after thinking more about your question I realized the "package" you referred to is probably the fee you paid Powweb to set up the ssl for you. So I guess the bad news is nullified :)
Not sure about the ssl page in ops, I've never used ssl at Powweb, sorry I couldn't help more :(

Once you've activated SSL with Powweb, you will be given the SSL path to your website. (i.e. https://mars.powweb.com:8475). This will point directly to all your files in the "htdocs" directory. You can see this SSL in OPS under the "HTTP" tab. Just call your website through that URL and it'll be secure. That's pretty much it. Also, if you have images, make sure you call those images through the SSL path and not http://yourdomain.com.
