Extra FTP Users...

How do they connect to it. My friend wants a section of my site www.xero-infinity.com/eternalisle - I have it setup but I don't know how to have him connect using FTP to upload... Can anyone help me?

Oops... Well it connects, but when I upload something it does not show up. I think it's not connecting right or something. Does anyone know whats wrong? Nothing shows up in there either... Any help would be much appreciated.
