Can someone point me to a link or explain the pros/cons of creating subdirectories within my site.
For example:
If I want to address different topics within my single domain is it better to structure my web like this where I create a separate htm file for each topic:
www.epayservices.com/banks.htm
www.epayservices.com/storage.htm
.
.
www.epayservices.com/telecom.htm
OR this way where I create a directory that would be used to collect multiple pages related to each directory name:
www.epayservices.com/banks/bank.htm
www.epayservices.com/storage/storage.htm
.
.
www.epayservices.com/telecom/telecom.htm
Does the latter approach mean I publish separate webs using front page where there are unique private directories and the other front page directories associated for each subdirectory or is it still a single web? How about links between the two...
Appreciate any help. Thanks.
