Sure is... where/which peak is it??? Did you take it yourself?

What kind of camera? I love my Sony DSC-P1 (3.3M pixels). :D

Beautiful, yes.. where is it?

these pics were taken 3 miles from my house.. what you are seeing is mt. rainier (an inactive (thank God) volcano).

sorry 'bout the file size.. was testing the digital zoom (not so good) and the panarama stitching (fantastic!) abilities of my camera :)

You are lucky, the highest mountain we are likely to see around here is a molehill!

Sorry, Roger, as you can see now, I spoofed it.

I do have an Olympus laying around somewhere that gets very little use :(

I am lucky.. I've lived here since I was 4 years old.. and honestly can't remember not seeing mt. rainier from w/in 5 minutes of where I lived. I can get to view of water, forest and/or mountain w/in 5 minutes from anywhere I'm at.. and can't imagine living elsewhere. We also have the Cascades & Olympics (mountain ranges) in view from various vantage points.

However.. if Rainier ever blows, ya'all best be praying for me.. cuz I only live 30 miles from her..
