View Full Version : Ricksta.net (layout update)
I have taken quite a while to come up with a better-looking layout for my website, and it is finally completed. Could I please have some feedback?
By the way, the feedback and received previously, is appreciated. Thank you.

You've made a nice improvement on your home page. It's a little too vertical/large for 800x600 viewing but then that's my problem because I could use full view or 1024x768, which I did, and at 1024x768 all views well. Just as I would hope it might at 800x600. Any way much improved over the previous. As I mentioned previously, your domain seems to be a chat site, without a common cause or community of interest but after viewing your links the nucleus of a common cause seems to be present. MyStruggle is particularly interesting. Having said that I think, move the children back please, your links are the heart of your domain. They need, some how, to be fully integrated with your site. How you might do that I have no clue at this time but will think about it. The key might be the integration of your site content navigation and your link sites. That is, having navigation subtitle on your home page plus the linked sites, and if possibly, links back from the sites you reference that do not have a chat forum. This approach would provide a voice to those sites that need one but don't have one and substance to your forum. A synergy of causes.
I was not very positive in my previous critique of your site but I think you have goals that are worth working towards and I think your site will improve as you progress in obtaining your goals.
That site looks good.I like the cut outs you have on the homepage.I didn't know their were links to the site until i seen the little hand popup.I was gonna let you have if you just had a popup window site...I see that you don't have many graphics on your site.Which aint bad:( But I like the layout of this one.Good colors, nice color scheme and easy reading..You know text is king dont you ;)
