Hi. Got my site online in the last couple of days. http://www.cbfdesign.com Think I've got the bugs out of it.

I've tested in:

IE 5.5 SP2
IE 6.0
NN 4.74
NN 4.78
NN 6.2
NN 7.0
Mozilla 1.0
and
Opera 6.04

The only lagging issue I know of is that JS form validation isn't working in NN 4.x at the moment AND I don't have server-side validation activated on the mail script. This is the last remaining thing to do on MY list.

If anyone sees anything else... I'd be glad to hear it!

I'm comparatively very amateur in web design (I'm stuck in the dark ages because I can only do very basic stuff and things that I can learn by looking at other pages), but I liked your design very much. One thing I've always had a problem with is good designs that are muddled by things that take too long to load... and yours was exactly the opposite. Even on my slow modem it loaded very quickly.

One thing I did notice is that on your Gallery page there is a HTML remnant showing up - "High Tech&quot: under Web Design sample. I'm using Netscape 6 on this system... I haven't checked it in other browsers. I know Netscape 6 has a history of doing that sort of thing... particularly on fancier pages.

Great catch! Thanks.

I've been doing this for quite a bit of time. I actually feel that I should be better at it for how long it's been since I wrote my first <html>. But I haven't always done strictly design & web pages. Did quite a bit of programming along the way, but I digress.

I learned most of what I know by doing exactly what you described. I'd see something I like, then I'd dissect it and try to reproduce it.

Thanks again for looking it over! It's much appreciated.
