That's very slick. It's easy to navigate so feels comfortable.
However, I'd like to see some touches of red or yellow to add visual interest.

yes, we were just discussing adding yellow today - not a lot - just a touch here and there...

sometimes too much color can wreck a site... so we were taking a cautious road first...

check back in about a week - when we have all the bugs out and we can add a splash of color - plus we are adding a few more surprises... he he

Nice :)

It loads nicely, even on a dialup modem connection and fits in an 800x660 screen resolution nicely.

I agree with Wyndra that it could use just a touch more color, but not a lot.

The only problem that I found, was that the menu text was just a wee bit hard to read (for us old timers).

Hi Kim --

Visually, I like the layout and concept.

What I don't like, however, is resizing my browser window to a "maximum" size without actually maximizing it. That means the next browser window I open will have those "maximum" dimensions... forcing me to manually resize it back to "my default" size/dimensions.

I really hate sites that do that... to the point of never going back! :(

Sorry!

i agree with the other poster about the screen resize, could it maybe snap to a large but reasonable size, maybe only filling out if it's a smaller monitor? not a really big deal. i'm on a mac and had to hit the link twice to get it to load, both times, but, there's hardly any of us mac guys around...

on color, myself, i prefer a little more neutrality in the overall design, using the color to punch but not overpower. it may be a little to loud to be classic and professional in the use of colors. as to adding an additional color or yellow or red, i don't think i agree, too much primary color will make it look amaturish. you need to look at having a pofessional logo designed, look for a print media artist for that. a real good logo is worth allot in the presentation.

the navigation is good, use smaller type and allow more air around your text frames, too crowded, too condensed. just give it a little room and make it more readable, sometimes larger type is harder to read. also, never justify long lines of type like that, again easier reading, it's a fact. also, be more consistant in your application of type. if you find a good print media artist, ask them to critique the typography, see if they don't echo these comments. ive been in the magazine business for my whole career and these are just typography basics that all good print ads will follow. allthough the medium is different, typography in advertising is still typography in advertising. don't stretch and compress your type all over the board just to fill space. the PR in the middle is not good, maybe make it larger to stand out, like it was no accident or...hmm i don't know try to think of some way to make it different where it looks more planned...

just keep it moving along, it's good, and this stuff is not easy to create. try to improve your typography and see if you don't like it better, it will be an easy improvement for you guys. if your frames are not consistant in content by using more consistent type, get more or less wordy, before stretching and compressiong your type. good luck and hope my comments were helpful...
