View Full Version : Not a Powweb problem but I still need help!
My company sent me some html coding to include in an email.
I use Eudora Pro and received emails in html all the time but never sent one.
So I pasted the coding into the text area and sent a test to myself.
Voila!.....I received an email full of source coding!
Can anyone be kind enough to tell me what I am doing wrong?

(Assuming you're on a Windows-based system) Save the source code to a .htm file. Double-click the file, which should open it in Internet Explorer. Click once on a blank area on the page. Press [CTRL] [A] to highlight the entire page. Press [CTRL] [C] to copy the page.
Start a new e-mail message and move your editing cursor (the blinking I-bar cursor) to the body of the message. Press [CTRL] [V] to paste the page content.
If Eudora is remotely like Outlook, you should now have an HTML formatted message. If it's not, you'll get the plain text.
Hope this helps!
It appears to work but I forgot to mention that there are some graphics also.
Do I also paste these into the page?
I haven't ran Eudora for a while, but I may remember how this is done.
If you are using Eudora 5 or better, you can embed an image in the body.
You will need to be able to place your cursor where you want the graphic and then go up to the lower tool bar (just above the body of the email) and there should be an icon to the far right of that tool bar. It's called "Insert Object" I believe... it should give you the option of inserting a picture or horizontal bar.
Hope this helps
