Heyo...I am currently tweaking the design of my site and I need some feedback from anyone out there! What's working, what's not? How does it look? Etc... Check it out at: http://nvisionillustration.com
Let me know what you think!

but from there your need some work. None of your links were rendered/accessible. Someone should feed that dog before it get it's picture take. That pix does not create a good introduction. Will check back latter.
Welcome to the forum
Later that same day:
Yup, full view 1024x768: you'll lose even those who use 1024 unless they are 1024 pros and select full view but then that might also be what you want.
Strangely, with all that open space at 1024 your image window would fit in 800x600 very nicely. Why not fill the whole view/screen/display/browser window. I think your site works for you and is very introspective. Enjoy.

Oh, cripes...I forgot to mention that the site is ONLY viewable at 1024 x 768 (or higher) screen res...anything lower and it'll look like crap. Sorry for the limitations, but it's standard res for my target audience...

lol@feeding the dog before picture snap.....I like the design of this site. You should go to the resource center and get a colored scrollbar to match the rest.Is that it though...You don't have any links to any other pages on the site.......;)

Navigation links are at the bottom bar...they are iconic and not text based...
(in order) Home, Portfolio, Comics, Sketches, Bio, Links...
is it too subtle? Should there be a note at the top the display frame?
I'm at 1024x768 and I can barely see the links at the bottom. I see th etop of them, but that's it. Need to definately make them more VISIBLE to your audience. Don't want them having to hunt around too much....like I did until I read all this post :)
I think it looks good, but I don't tend to like Page templates like that as they limit you and your audience.
Good job on the graphics though.

Many thanks for all the feedback...I've been busting my hump all day trying to keep up with the problems. I've set up the page to display in a constrained window, so hopefully no one will miss the links or any content.
A quick question...Is there anyway to display an updated version of a site without refreshing each individual page (aside from stopping cahching...I don't want to sacrifice loadtime)?

Its a major must that you make your links more visible.I bypassed them the 1st time.....I agree with the notes at the top of the display frame as you stated...:)

Just wanted to add that I liked your site... only problem I had with it was that it popped up really low on my screen... the top of the page was in the bottom third of my screen. Once I moved it up I thought the design was great.

I kept waiting for the opening graphic to do something, had to figure out that the eye was the button.
"the icons are (left to right) as follows" would read better and be less confusing if it read "the icons (left to right) are as follows" I was not sure what you were trying to say.
It might be a good idea to warn people that there is "adult" material on the site, "icon7a" would not be suitable for younger audiences.
Overall I like the site it is very uniqe. I like the way you did the thumbnails.

I think not.
I know you're thinking that only "pro's" and smart people are going to see your site, and they'll have 1024 x 768 as their res because that's the best one.
It is. But. I had a site (not anymore) with that same "audience."
Believe it or not, the percentages were:
1024 x 768 and higher - 65%
800 x 600 and under - 35%
(whereas the normal visitor average is opposite that). And trust me, I myself wish everyone could just use 1024 x 768, but the truth is, it's not like that, and it's not going to be like that for a long time. And it also doesn;t help that most computers' default Res's are 800 x 600 from when they are bought, so a whole lot of people just leave them that way out of lack of knowledge or just preference.
So I'm positive at least 30% of your audience you receive are screwed out. Yah gotta face the facts.

Alrighty...I added a 800 x 600 version of the page for those who don't use higher resolution...
Let me know if all of the links are working, images loading, etc...
