install mysql myself?

can i install mysql myself on my powweb site?
do i really need powweb to turn it on?
i know it is only $10, but it just seems like a waste if i can do it myself.

do they include PHPmyAdmin also when they turn it on?

i guess if i don't have access to the server's configurations i can't install mySQL...true?

I doubt if you could install mysql without root access.

PHPMyAdmin is not installed automatically. You will have to do it yourself.
