Uploading my Tables to MySQL DB

I have a linux box with MySQL running on it that I use for development.

I need to upload all of the tables in the MySQL database.

Can someone please tell me how to do this without pulling all my hair out?

I would think that there should be a wasy to just FTP the tables to the DB with no problems, but I could be wrong?
