First attempt at a web site

My wife is trying to turn her hobbies into a business. I have been elected to learn try to make a web for her. I can't get her to criticize the site so I am forced to seek outside critics.

I know it doesn't look like the professional sites, what I am going for is relaxing, homey and friendly.

It's just a little cold looking.

Possibly a slight coloured tint to each background would engender a little more warmth, and give the feeling of things flowery and herby.

Possibly a slight flowery 'watermark' to each page could be effective.

I've put up a few you might like to play with, resize, tile, etc. if they are of any use to you.

The 'flyout' information on the left hand links could possibly be a smaller font size too......... otherwise a good first attempt :)

You're right, just that hint of colour gives it a lot warmer feeling, and makes it much more inviting........
