making flames animation help

Hi everyone. Need some help here. I need to add flames to a graphic image, thats roughly in the shape of a diamond. I am doing some work in swish, and need to add flickering or roasting type flames. Does anyone have any tips for adding flames that move to an object? thanks very much for any help with this. Have a great day.

I did an experiment in Flash 5 awhile back. All I did in import an animated Gif of flames into the program. then I attached that to a button "over". Quite an effect. :)

I tested the import into Swish 2 and it does work.

Not sure what you meant by move to an object? motion path might work??

I've looked at swish but never really used it. But it does seem to have simular basic commands.

Well even if this didn't help I hope it gives you ideas.
