I've been here for a few months I guess now and decided to drop a note off about it. It is http://www.forlorn-souls.net which is dedicated to the Underground Extreme Metal scene, and more so dedicated to my favorite genre of extreme metal - Doom Metal!
Stop by for a visit and look around if you like. Tons of links to a lot of bands, record labels and webzines. I also do some reviewing and interviewing for a friends Zine Eternal Frost Webzine (link is in the Webzines section).

Hi...
I think you're on a good start, but the background makes it hard to read. I would also take the border out of the upper frame...Midi files on a site is a no no unless you can turn it off!!!
Take a closer look at the choice of color...bright green, pink and so on with this background...well I don't know...
sorry for the harsh critique...

The color scheme is the way I want it, dark, dreary, etc...to fit the music style. As for the frame border, I have to hunt that down to remember how to get rid of it!
Thanks though! I have to work on the midi as I tweaked the javascript so it isn't hidden BUT it is still playing! Argh!

Hey...if you're using FrontPage:
right mouse click on the frame -> Frame Properties -> then Frames pages on the right -> then Frames on the top right ->
them uncheck borders...that's it!
I will post a java script for your midi file by this weekend. I have to put it on one of my pages, since I can't publish any full scripts here...admin took it out before...
Hope it helped...

Here is the code....
<body>
<P ALIGN="center"><EMBED SRC="midifile name.mid" AUTOSTART="true" LOOP="infinite" HEIGHT="30" WIDTH="110"><BR>
<FONT SIZE="2" COLOR="Yellow">Song = Song's title</FONT><FONT SIZE="2"><BR>
</body>
all you have to do is change the midi file name to the song you want to hear
and change the color that indicates which song you're playing & name of course ;-)
I hope it helps
