View Full Version : How To Erase Website on PowWeb Server
Hi Everyone,
I wanted to erase my old website that is currently up on the web. I wanted to erase everything that is present on the PowWeb Server so that I could start from scratch. All I want on the server is my index.html page.
Please advise.

What FTP program are you using?
Your FTP program should have a 'delete' function.
In mine (CuteFTP Pro), I just right-click on what I want to delete and select "delete".
If you've got a lot of files to get rid of, you can hold down Shift when you click to select large blocks (hold down Shift, click on the first file, then click on another one farther down the list, and everything in between will be selected. Or, you can pick them all individually by holding Ctrl while clicking on them.

all you have to do is log in with an FTP client and Delete all the files you don't want.
Hi,
Thanks for the quick replies. Actually I am using FrontPage 2000. I don't know how to do it there.
My website is at: www.salwantrading.com
As other users suggested you have to use an ftp. Check the help.powweb.com/tutorials/ and check the ftp tutorials. It very easy to download it for free and start using it immediately.

Or delete the site in FrontPage and publish it. That'll bring it in sync.
Or create a new site in FrontPage and publish that.
