want some old pics coloured

i just got given some s/w that works on colorising (spelling ?) black and whites

anyone got any they could use on their websites ? let me know i'll have a go for free.

it would be good practice for me and hey i may make some bucks out of this in the future

Bobby Charlton holding the eurpean cup in 1968, the blue was a bit tricky ( yes the RED DEVILS wore blue for that final, not many people know that, well not till now !!)

i was doing some work on some photos from the first woldl war but had to give up after working on the faces, these guy's just started to come alive and i relised that many of them were probably killed shortly after the photos were taken

it was really weird as they got coloured they came to life, you know b/w sort of gives a time cushion, as they got coloured it made them "here and now" real people with real feelings and it got really spooky,

it just didn't seem right to be using them for a sort of game, i don't know..it just got eerie !!

They're excellent. Really bloody excellent!!!

But you've got to tell us the name of the software. I might try some stuff using photoshop, but I don't think they'll be as good (and perhaps lack automation??)

As you've had a couple of requests for the name of the software (And I believe the idea of these forums is to actually help each other) - Wouldn't it be a good idea to enter the spirit of things, and actually respond with a name and source for the software?

those are wonderful. i would like to have this black and white picture that my grandpa has carried in his wallet for almost 60 years colorized. it's a picture of him and grandma when they were dating. i already emailed my aunt to make a copy of it (they're in iowa, i'm in seattle). thought it would be a nice xmas present, printed and framed.

i was originally thinking about having this local artist draw it, in color. but your work really is very very nice, i think i'd like that better.

will you keep me in mind? when i get the picture i'll email it to you, and when my site is up and going (i'm working on it now), i'll put you on my links page?
