I'm having problems getting my guestbook to work (see thread in the cgi forum), so I checked the error log, but it was blank. How does one activate the error log option?

As long as you’re calling your files and scripts via your FQDN, your logs will work. If you’re using your temporary URL, they will not.
Logs update every 2 hours.

What is the difference between my "FQDL" and my "temporary URL"?

One is a "Fully Qualified Domain name", the other is not. You only get logs when you use your FQDN.

Then, I need to stop using 64.63.125.40 and start using tresclub.com?
