Okay so I'm brand new to the Scene of hosting with Powweb, I use to have a DSL connection with Static IP and a webserver. Due to a move of Residence, I lost that great luxury.. Anyway I had a W2k Server with PHP and MYSQL. Also installed was PHPmyADMIN, which allowed me to remotely manage MYSQL through the web-based interface, is anyone using this ? Can I use it ? Thanks in Advance!
Yes I believe you can use that.. I have seen several people recommend that program here. Personally I use this program...
http://binladenisdead.net/mysqlfront22.exe
I am using phpmyadmin to access & control my database on my PowWeb account. It works fine. :)

cben, what do you see when you try to connect to your database via MySQLFront?
If it's not connecting at all, here are the settings that I use (maybe it will help)...
hostname/IP: meteor.powweb.com (replace "meteor" with your powweb server)
User: your powweb FTP user name
Password: your powweb FTP password
Port: leave it blank
Database: name of your database on powweb
I had been using phpmysqladmin for a few weeks, and I recently discovered MySQLFront. Man.... I love MYSQLFront!! Much more simple, easy to use, intereface. And... no script editing needed just to connect to my database. :)
