Gallery speed and linking

I have installed Gallery on my site and started loading some images to it. I wonder if anyone here have experienced slowness last couple of days?

Thank you newcomer, I am not sure if there is more to the name of this gallery than just gallery but I think some knows it by menalto(?) - it's creator I think.

the URL is www.ruvyamir.co.il/gallery. open anyalbum or sub album. The question however was not related tat much to the software but rather to powweb hosting if there is (was) certain slowness in the last few days or is it just the long distance I am from you.

BTW, there was a talk if I am not mistaken to set a mirror site in the east coast to shorten distances to Europe and the middle east - am I right?, if so, did it materialize? or when will it?

You might be doing it but I just wanted to make sure if you optimize all of your images before uploading them to your gallery.

I have gallery up and running on my site and it was slow too and all I did was optimized all of my pictures so they load faster now I'm not sure if that's the case in here but I do see few images are large in size so just try to optimize your images and see if that works for you?

Now I have seen this gallery and its running on powweb also so you can check the speed of loading and performance.
