nesting errors

Hi,

l am not a website designer at all, what l call just a web mechanic.

l have some nesting erros on my index page.

l would be grateful if someone can advise me on fixing these teething problems.

The best way to take care of these nesting errors would be to run your page through a validator & hand-fix the errors. There is a PC version you can run on your computer that gives 'plain english' messages, you can find that here:

http://www.htmlvalidator.com/

there is a free (light) version available.

You have about 8 nesting issues (DIV's, CENTER's, TABLE's, etc..) and a few warnings (all the warnings are about extra space's in your image tags), it will be a quick fix for you once you run it through the validator ;)

Nope.. haven't gotten into the whole PHP thing yet.. haven't had a reason to (although.. I'm starting to get a bit curious 'bout it..). Many here are into it however.. so if you have specific questions.. post away (there's even a forum for it) ;)

Sorry l didn't get back to you before.
l have followed your recommendations with CSE lite. When l test my index page, naturally it comes with a serie of errors.

When l correct one or two, it comes up again with other errors, and even makes my page all out of order. No more alignement, etc...

As explained before, l am not a designer, and would appreciate help even if there is a payment involved, as long as all my nesting errors disappear. This is the only page out of my whole site with errors. :eek:

lf you agree, let me know how you wish to go about it. Of course, l will put a link for your site, on one of my pages. Reciprocity is good.

Later, there are still teething problems with PHP, but not urgent.
