Absolute positioning

I want to create a hidden layer filled with text (no I am not spamming) and then use absolute positioning to make it appear to the search engines near the top of the page.

I know how to do this with FrontPage, but I no longer use that for designing sites. Any hints or tips will be appreciated.

What do you mean absolute positioning? Do you mean exactly putting it where you want it? In the property inspector you can position it to the absolute cooridnants (spelling?), x and y. Is that what you mean?
