Hi...I already have been on your site before and responded to your puppies... ;-)
I think that your site has a unique layout and it is really easy to navigate. I like the fake counter and really like your pictures/drawings. I just would post those pictures as thumbnails, or as a picture show and give to each one of the pictures a caption or more information.
I think that you shouldn't put too much information on your autobiography...I think too much text is overkill. Why don't you try to split the one page in a few smaller ones and add some of your pictures/drawings or a graphic or something.
I like the dog's site...I like the navbar on the bottom, so you have to scoll down and view everything to navigate...good idea ;-)
I don't know what the professional webdesigner would say about it...but who cares.
I think that you are on a good start...like I said before...unusual unique layout/design, but that does not mean that it is bad!!!
Don't get me wrong...I don't want to down you or something, it is simply my perspective.
Keep up the good work and build on this start...

k, that was deja vous. I knew I had seen the site before. I made a comment about it in the other thread you made... I didn't see much changed since the last time I went to see your site. It's a nice little site as far as personal pages go. Simplicity seems to be the key for it, and in that, it works well.

ooops... I'm sorry - didn't mean for the 'same people' to visit the site. Not trying to promote it, just wanted some feedback. Sorry! ;(
maybe try an image-based sidebar or top bar for navigation...and lighter colors are more professional...

I changed the colors. Too many people have color related issues! Can you explain what you mean by an "image-based" navigation bar. Thanks!
here is a site i made (except the map) for an elementary school:
www.everett.wednet.edu/emerson
notice the sidebar is not plain text.
also, here is another website (not mine) with a more complex top bar:
www.teenagewebmaster.com

Thanks for the info - nice sites. You're doing a great job!
I vascillated between a black background and a lighter color - I'm going to keep it light. Easier to read... obviously! lol I still have a few things I'm adding here and there.
i'd also suggest, personally, getting rid of any background music.

I appreciate your dislike of background music, but I am keeping it in the Homepage. Thanks anyway...:)
it was implied by the word "suggest" that taking the advice was optional...

it's a good site, the music is pleasing. i agree with josh about the colours but only on some site. i neede my site to blend in wuth the other in line sites so i kept my colurs minimal however in your case who gives a dam about blending in. You might like to try some jazzy menues you can get some cool ones from anfi.com and i used a rollover effect from appletlib.tripod.com

hey thanks... I went to appletlib and will definitely go back after a good nights rest! The other site anfi.com - is that the correct name, because I got an error message. I went back after searching for www.anfi.com and ended up on a site for a resort. Interesting pages! Is that what you were referring to?
Thank you for taking a peek at my page. I appreciate your response.
