View Full Version : streaming for Windows Media
I already have my files in Windows Media format... how do I stream them on my ppage ?? what's the code ?
I know it's sinple for RealPlayer...
...there's no code. Just put a regular link on it. If they click it, Media Player will automatically try to stream it. No special code needed.
but maybe I'm wrong after all. :/ I hate that.
Anyway, check out the 'Music on website' thread. Page 2 has some information on using embed tags.

Then try camtasia studio, it's main role is to take screen captures and then turn them into an avi movie, however you can then convert that movie to windows media format, real player format, quicktime and even flash. There are several modules and the one that does the conversion is producer
i don't know if this is of use to you but i thibk the flash swf files it creates are well compressed ans the product is very simple to use ( maybe a bit pricey)

is some clean cut and paste that also enables NetScape 6.2 and Mozilla 1.1 browsers. It also protects your .wma files from being placed in Windows\Temporary Internet Files.
Test it on my home page:
