You can dowload this free program to connect to your DB and admin DB.

Hello,
I'm having the same problem where I cannot connect using MySQL-Front or Mascon. I used the same settings as gearhead. I'm just wondering what gearhead had to do to solve this problem.
Thanks for the help!

Just a point of reference, last night I downloaded/installed mySQL-Front and it connected no problem.
Make sure you have the correct username & password that you assigned to the database in OPS (and the corret database name, too). Remember, the username and password are case sensitive.
alphadesk: thanks for pointing out this excellent tool!

Hello All,
Glad to see you got connected, Gearhead. My problem was the firewall. I was trying to connect at work. My company has a firewall that doesn't allow you to use port 3306 to connect. I came home and installed the software and had no problem connecting.
Sounds like we're all happy people.
Take care.

Is the port 3306 the same for everyone or do different hosts (Im on calisto) have different ports? If different how would you find out what port you shoud be using?

make sure you are not capitalizing Asteroid. The logon is case sensitive. The port will always be the same on all the powweb servers. You're problem is likely the capitalization.
