Do you live in St. George, Utah?

Hi fellow PowWeb users, ;)

I am considering moving to St. George Utah, and thought I'd ask here if there are any 'locals' in the crowd.

I have read many demographic and city comparisons, and I have received a St George guide from the chamber of commerce, so .... I think that I have a pretty good idea of what's going on there. ;)

I traveled through St George in November while on vacation in southern Utah, and I really like the feel of the city. (I even checked out a couple of open house's while there)

If anyone here is a St George local, I'd like to know....

1) how long you've lived there, and how fast/slow the city is growing.

2) what the job market is like. (I'm an auto technician with 22 years of experience)

3) anything positive or negative that you can tell me about the city.

4) why you live there. :D

I currently live in Mission Viejo, CA (Orange County). The cost of living in St George is MUCH lower than OC, but from what I've been able to find, the pay scale is much lower too. :(
