My credit card has been charged the $93.24, but my account and everything is still pending. If it's been charged already, why am I losing a couple days to get things going? Also, I received an email saying that I needed to fax a copy of the front of the card to you, then I get the email saying the account has been charged now. Do I still need to send the front, or no? And when will I be able to get started on my site since I've been charged?
Nice how you make customers lose a few days, but they pay for them. Your making things confusing, and why advertise the price as being $7.77 a month, when you have to pay the full price before you get started?

You might have to email billing@powweb.com to deal with that directly. This is really a user to user help forum and cant help you with billing issues, even if some of Powweb's admins do come in to make clarifications sometimes.

Hope you can get it all worked out to your satisfaction

Hi,

The billing department has received several emails from you regarding your account. However, in 2 different emails, you have indicated 2 different domain names. We have replied and still waiting for your answer for the confirmation of which domain name that you wanted before we activate and register the domain name for you. We have to wait for your confirmation since once we register the domain name, no changes can be made to it.

In last reply to you I thought I had cleared all out (it seems to me):

- domain name registration "dkm-merchandise.com"
- yearly hosting for this domain
- MySQL support for this hosting

That's all I need.

As for now account seems to be active, but domain name registration still in process. Thank you!

I hope billing can tell me something good, cause pretty soon, I'm going to be really pissed that I'm losing a whole week getting my site back up, not to mention paying even though my **** ain't working.

Please email support@powweb.com if you are having problems with your account. If your account hasn't worked for one week, it is best that you let them know so our support team can fix your problem asap.

Ok. I'm all good now. Thanks for the help. I'm not to familiar with powweb, and now I need to know how to check my mail via Web Based. I've tried mail.domain.com, but all that comes up is the page for my old domain host. How would I check my mail through this cause I don't use POP?

As long as references to your domain bring up your old host, you will not be able to use any of Powweb's e-mail features at all. Wait 24-72 hours for DNS propagation.

I do not recommend using Powweb's Web-based [ edited by author ] e-mail as your primary e-mail client. Therefore, if you aren't going to use POP/SMTP for your Powweb account, I would advise that you configure all your Powweb mail to forward to an account that you do use, possibly with your ISP.

Hmmm ... Why? What are the reasons not to use it?

I've put only one forward - to my internet-to-sms-number of mobile phone (so I would know when new message arrives) and going to take all email at evening directly from Powweb servers ...

Excuse me, I did not mean to say "Powweb's e-mail."

I meant to say "Powweb's Webmail" (as your primary e-mail client).

After your DNS propagation is complete, your Powweb e-mail will work perfectly well, with true POP / SMTP capabilities.
