I'm new: looking for a few guidelines

Evening all:

I'm new to pow web. Credit card processed on Weds. but I haven't heard anything back from them. I read the verification process takes 24-72 hours. Can anyone give me a ballpark on how long it took them to get everything set up and running for them...my site is currently hosted on geocities and I am having major bandwith issues and I need to get it up on pow web...anyways... any help will be helpful

I too signed up on Wednesday. Here's the times/dates from the email autoreplies I received :

Welcome To PowWeb Hosting - Wed, 30 Jan 2002 22:15:26 -0800

Credit Card Charge Receipt - Thu, 31 Jan 2002 10:56:23 -0800

Package Setup - Thu, 31 Jan 2002 11:00:18 -0800

Note there was a delay between the welcome message and the CC processing, because their CC processor was unable to confirm my (Australian) address. It was done next working day, Californian time.

All is now well, and I'm a happy little vegemite ;-)
