why isn't my domain name being resolved?

i just started with powweb. i see that my domain name is registered (in member ops) but it's not resolving when i try to open the page.

It typically takes 24-48 hours for a domain to propogate across the Internet, which is why you were provided with a temporary name to use.

For most people it can take anywhere from 3-5 days. (Most common that I personally have seen is 3 days.)

You are basically waiting for your domain name to proprogate across the internet and for your ISP to update their DNS cache. :) Once that happens, you will be good to go!
