I have just received 2 seperate emails deliverd to one of my pop accounts, addressed to users that don't exist. Is this normal or just a bug? If normal, could I please get this removed.... One sure fire way to cop heaps of spam (of which they where). I tested it myself and the mail was delivered.

Regards. Ian.

Doh! sorry. Just reread some of the previous threads and found an answer. BUT can I turn the *@kool off without killing anything??

No, I would not advise just "turning off" your catch-all alias. Direct it to your ISP account where you can just go through it and mass-delete the junk mail, just as you throw away your junk mail after the mailmain comes to visit.

Powweb's servers are designed to deliver *all* incoming mail to your domain. Welcome to the responsibility of domain ownership and management.

Thanks for that.
Yes it is simple to delete the junk but to me this is a Micro$oft Outlook type feature. If people can't remember an address, doesn't matter, just make one up.....
