outgoing email

I have recently signed up to Powweb hosting and have met with problem in configuring my email client.

POP3 works just fine - I get all email I want and in the right way I want, but with outgoing email my client always says something like this:

"Message has not been sent. Server reply - <somename>@<somefreeemailserver>.fm: Recipient address rejected: Relay access denied."

Any idea what this means? I have to use only SMTP server from my ISP provider to send messages?

Also to note that: "<somename>@<somefreeemailserver>.fm" is the address where I try to send my email via "mail.powweb.com" or "mail.<my-domain>.com" smtp servers ...

What is your domain name? What is your e-mail client? Have you read the FAQ at http://powweb.com/support/tutorials.html?

Are you using SMTP authentication on outgoing mail?

SMTP server authenification needed ... That was a problem. Now all works just fine. Thank you for help!
