Can I create a counter hosted by Powweb that deals only with a specific directory of my site?

I have one for my main directory, I was just wondering if I could configure a counter to work for a separate directory.

I haven't used Powweb's "hosted" counter. Generally, I advise people against using counters that actually show up on a page. Most people are really annoyed when they see one. [ Oh gosh, I've been counted again ... or ... What? that counter says the same thing it did when I was here last week ... or ... I feel as though I'm just a number here; note to self: don't come back ... or ... OH MY GAWD I WONDER IF I JUST GAVE AWAY MY E-MAIL ADDRESS ]

I have a hidden "counter" on most of my pages written in Perl. I took it from a script I ran across years ago. You could start your own search at http://cgi-resources.com; there are a lot of freebies out there; I don't recommend hosted counters of any kind; pick one that's easy to configure, suits your purposes, and that you can put in your own webspace and manage yourself.
