Truncated passwd files in pulsar and mail2 caused some users to be unable to log via FTP or to receive mail.
Comet was slow to respond to http requests due to a few run away processes. Restarting apache resolved this.
Changes we are making to our infrastructure will keep similar outages from being able to affect our users. :)
