New idea to get rid of spam in catch-all account?!

According to what I have read in the User Help Documentation (http://help.powweb.com/faqs/email.php)
Q. Where do emails sent to user@server.powweb.com go?
A. Any email sent to user@sever.powweb.com is copied to /dev/null. The /dev/null is an automatic deletion.

there is no need to forward the catch-all email to any Hotmail or Yahoo account, or to start any bounces or loops by forwarding it to eg. BAD_EMAIL_ADDRESS.

Forward it to user@server.powweb.com and it will automatically delete those emails!
Just replace user with the username you use to check your main pop account (the one you can´t delete in OPS), and server with the servername you are on (eg. orion, pulsar, ...).

If have not yet tested this.
Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

The problem is that the person who sent you the email will not receive any errors. Sometimes a friend can type the email wrongly and he will never know that you did not receive the email.

I set my account to do just that - the *@weaselslair.com is set up to forward it to 1 address : user@server.powweb.com, but the sender still receives the underliverable message. At least this stops me from getting the xxx@weaselslair.com type spam, but according to what you two posted, I shouldn't see ANY error - it should fall into the /dev/null blackhole.
