I think I have completed my website, which is for my brother's tax business, but I would like feedback. I like things simple and easy to understand. Can some one tell me if the sites are automatically registered with the 40 search engines, or is there something else I need to do.

You can pay but if you have the time its best to submit you own sites. Look up free site submission and there will be a lot of them to chose from.

The site http://www.sitemeter.com has a tab at the top that submits you to a lot of the major ones and its free. Check it out. Also check out the free advise on promoting your site. Putting key words is most important, so you will want to make sure you get those on the site.

Remember to avoid to much movement on a site. A little is ok a little more is distracting from what you are trying to say. Get 5 people to look at the site for 5 seconds and if they can tell you want it is about then you will a great success.

clean professional and smooth, wish i was. check out my site i tried for ages messing around on my own and went for atemplate in the end cot$50 and had it setup in an hour what do you think?
