Here' my dilemma: I have that WS_FTP thing, but I don't like it's layout and tools. I want to convert over to SmartFTP, which I have downloaded and setup. But here's the catch. SmartFTP only has entries for 3 things: Address, Username and Password. No Hostname, and no Host Type. So will this work? I have tried countless times, and it just does not work. I have tried. Somebody please help me now, please.

Address: the server you are on (meteor.powweb.com, comet.powweb.com, ftp02.powweb.com) you can find this in the FTP tab in you OPS panel
User: your FTP user name
Password: your FTP password
Nothing else is needed to make this program work. If you are still having troubles post back

While JD's answer is correct, of course, I like to recommend the use of your domain name in place of the server name. This way, if PowWeb moves you to a different server, you don't have to change your settings. So for example, if your domain was jakespianobenches.com, that's what you would use as the FTP server name (or "address"). PowWeb's DNS server will make the appropriate translation.
A caveat - this works only when your domain has propagated through the web's DNS servers. For the first week or two, you're probably better off using the temporary domain PowWeb assigned you.
Actually, if it's a newer account (or an existing account moved to the new architecture) the domain name will not work as the FTP hostname. You have to use the FTP server the account is on - such as ftp01.powweb.com.

Oh! I wonder why that is.... Thanks for the information.
I'd just like to say SmartFtp works great, I haven't had any problems with it. For a free Ftp program I don't think it can be beat.
In my experience it was best to use the server name instead of the domain name for the address. For several months I used the domain name then I changed domain names and for about 30 minutes I scratched my head wondering why my Ftp program wouldn't connect. I've never had my server changed though that could be a pain too I suppose.
