Getting started

Hi guys,

I'm new to Powweb and I'm sure there are LOTS of threads about the questions I might ask, so please bear with me.

First off, my hosting package is all set up and I just have to start uploading files via ftp to get the site up. I ordered the hosting yesterday and I have only gotten one e-mail and it said somewhere that I will be receiving a second e-mail that has my ftp information. When do you usually receive that? Do they assign you an arbitrarty username/password or is it one of those you chose to get the hosting?

What is your domain name? We can look into your account status.

Normally, if there are no billing problems (i.e. the credit card works), you receive your Setup email w/in an hour or so after receiving your order confirmation email.

All usernames and passwords are exactly as you specified in the ordering process. You should be able to log into https://ops.powweb.com using the Webuser login you created.

Thanks for the quick response! I just tried to log on via ftp and it worked.
