PowWeb policy on access log files?

I never saw it on the FAQ's - can someone tell me the complete policy on handling access-log files?
It appears that every Sunday evening (midnight GMT), the ACCESS_LOG.zip file is trashed, the ACCESS_LOG.txt is zipped into ACCESS_LOG.zip, and then the ACCESS_LOG.txt is trashed.
Fine, if this is the case, but my previous host did this monthly, so I am surprised, and dismayed to learn that I've lost the logs prior to last Monday.
If it's spelled out somehwre, will somebody point me there?
If not, I think it should be...

The FAQ says that it happens every "Sunday midnight (PDT)".
Given that we're no longer on Daylight Savings time, that hardly seems right.

Besides, it really happens at midnight GMT, according to my logs.
