I was given a GREAT tutorial email to start off my webpage.
However, the email had links that did not work.
So I cannot find the NEXT step in making a front page instead of that under construction sign.
I realize I need to make a new front page and my broderbaund web designer does not affectively load the page I designed.
HOW do I do it?
and how do I link all my files and folders to that pabe. There should be an online editor at powweb. that should have access from the front page.

I will look into the email tutorial and forward the appropriate info to the proper person. :)
Once you design the pages with your software you will need a FTP program to load to the server. http://smartftp.com is a free one. The tutorials have steps on setting this up.
Linking from page to page is is controlled through html. Your software should be able to do this no problem. Suggest learning some of the basic html code.
http://www.htmlgoodies.com has some good tutorials to start out with. If you have more specific questions you can do a search in these forums or head over to the HTML/CSS Forum (http://forum.powweb.com/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=29) as many topics about getting started with coding already exist.
Powweb does not have any online editor or uploader for you.

Im just so confused! I went to your links and found the exact same forums just like the this one.
When it comes to understanding websites, and codes, Im like a five year old.
I see greek, only :D
as far as the links not working, I think it is my options, somewhere that is turned off!
BTW Batman movie is on tonight, i grew up with it.

Ok godofmars01,
Let's start with, do you have an html (code) editor, like MS Frontpage or other? That's the first thing you will need to build a page. If not here is a free one that you can start with.

Here's another site to help get you started: click here (http://hotwired.lycos.com/webmonkey/teachingtool/html.html).

I have voyager, cute ftp, printshop pro, and front page editor, but having them doesnt mean I know which codes to use or how to use them.
In fact MsFpE, tells me that powweb does not support his program, and it looks like the easiest to use.
Do you mean Frontpage, or Frontpage Express? They're two different critters.
Also, if you're trying to use actual Frontpage, you need to turn on your Frontpage Extensions in Ops.
As for learning how to use them, all we can do for you is answer your questions (people here are pretty generous with their time), recommend tutorials, or possibly suggest taking a class! This is because our brain-transfer hats are in the shop :D

Take classes, you say. that would be nice, if I had the time.
but I realized this night, that I already have more than 250 files uploaded. I used a Dazzle web builder. I could send audio files and movies and pictures. But,
I dont know how to access them, nor how to send people to each file.
I would like to create my UNDER CONSTRUCTION page into the index and put a picture in for a coverpage. Thats all, just a simple picture and link button. but THEN i realize I Must creat several links on that page to the over 200 other files.
So I know these things must exist, I just do not know how to link them using the files i have. and I read the tutorials, if I had not read the first one, which was GREAT, I would not have been able to upload the files that I have.
but another question comes to mind, I did upload the exact same files, to the total of about 50 megs, but I dont know if anyone of them! are truly accessible because when i tried to download them, I got a bunch jibberish, instead of a picture. a simple picture that is sent out by one program in a binary code does not come back as a picture. I assume I will have to erase a whole day of uploading because NONE of those pictures will come back.
I am pretty confident that the dazzle web page loader, at least will load them without corrupting them. but not my letters and text files.
So in total I have spent three days uploading files, but there is no access to them, nor can I yet understand how to share them with my friends.

Did you upload the pics binary mode?
Your going to have to setup some kind of navigation to be able to access the pics. Maybe a gallery or something.
