I have tried to send an email to my other email address that I recently registered, n0tx at msn dot com . Now, I have tried to send an email with Outlook Express to that email address and I get this:

This is the Postfix program at host mail3.powweb.com.

I'm sorry to have to inform you that the message returned
below could not be delivered to one or more destinations.

For further assistance, please send mail to <postmaster>

If you do so, please include this problem report. You can
delete your own text from the message returned below.

The Postfix program...

Now, I go to login to my msn account email, at hotmail.com. I then send an email to my powweb address, and it sends fine. A second later It appears in my indbox in outlook express.. I try to click reply, and It comes back to me with the same error.

Any ideas?

Thanks...

I've sent you an e-mail message - let's see what happens... The symptoms suggest that the problem is on Hotmail/MSN's side. Are you SURE you've spelled the username correctly? ;)

It's not PowWeb - I got a bounce from MSN through Comcast saying "no such user. The username you gave here was en-zero-tee-ex. Is that correct?

What is your email? I'll send you an email, and then you'll reply and you'll get another error... PM me if you don't want public to see....

I don't know why this happens, any ideas? Anyone? I'm going to e-mail powweb support if no one else has ideas.. I just thought someone else might have some of the same problems..

SAME THING!, I realized this when I finaly got my form to work, and I tried the same thing that you did with several friends , cmon what is this ... its not my fault ... so it must be POWWEB! BOOOOO, lol just kidding but if somebody does know let me and ntix know asap I would hate to have to call powweb if I dont need to :)

It has nothing at all to do with PowWeb. I have now tried to send mail to "notix" via two different e-mail sending services, neither of which was PowWeb. Both got bounces, and one of them was a reply to a message I received. It's MSN that is bouncing the mail, so I suggest you contact MSN about it.

Here are the bounce messages I got:

Hi. This is the qmail-send program at mailgate.cesmail.net.
I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses.
This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out.

Hrm. .. Ok, your right.. I tried sending from a non-powweb account and I recieved the same error... Then I tried sending from the @msn.com to the @msn.com account (basically sending it to myself) and that worked. Its wierd how I can send one to my powweb, but not reply. .. any ideas? Anyone?

I'll say it again - contact MSN. The problem is on their end - it's their server that is rejecting the incoming mail. Note that if you send mail to yourself within MSN, that goes through a different path and probably doesn't encounter the problem.

I think notix is having an issue on MSN with his specific address, and only MSN can resolve it. I'm sure it isn't that ALL MSN addresses don't work...
