What do you think about this one: I'm still working on browser issues. The way I want it to appear is in MSIE 5 or greater. Mozilla is a little messed up, and of course Netscape is too. Haven't checked it in Opera, yet. Basically, I'm asking what you think of the menu system and layout.

It looks really nice in IE6, but as you said, you really do have some browser issues to deal with.

Netscape 7.01, the menu works fine, but the page becomes super extra wide. The red area between the menu and content section grows to 4 times it's normal width.

Opera 6.05, the page displays at the correct width, but the menu is totally messed up. The whole menu is collapsed within itself and only about the height of 1/2 of the top button.

If you can work out the kinks of browser compatibility, you've got a good start to a nice looking site.

Very nice - I like the design and ESPECIALLY like the fact that it adjusts to the size of your IE window (resolution independant)

Just a couple of things:

I'm running IE 6.0.2800.1106.xpsp1.20828-1920 (basicly 6.0) with high security settings. For some reason when I hover over the black "buttons" outside of the words it does not indicate a link. Having button shaped things that don't work as buttons is a pet peave of mine. I like to press the damn buttons! :D - but all kidding aside perhaps taking the black portion around the text and making the entire thing a button would be good.

Secondly - there is no "on_hover" effect to indicate that the button is "special" but the menus do work pretty well.

Just one thing I noticed - you make the lower level visible BEFORE the menu expands - perhaps you could make the menu expand and then expose the lower level. (very obvious when clicking the "trucks" non-button) [there I go again on the whole button thing!]
