Question on backing up mysql database

I tried to backup my mysql database using phpmyadmin... I did it before, but now I get a 500 Internal Server Error? :(

Your DB has probably grown to big and it takes too long to dump.
Try mysql-front and do it on your PC.

An internal server error 500 is something you should never see. I have had one before when my htaccess was messed up - so you can cause it, but not likely through phpmyadmin. If you continue to get 500 errors I would contact tech support.
