Decent site, although for requiring 1024x768 (as stated at bottom of page) you don't seem to get much above 800x600 in your layouts...
The sound on the front page sounds like either water or a fire - on closer examination something along the lines of rainfall with a bell in the background .... interesting but I keep looking for some sort of picture to go with the sound.
<rant>
And I can't stress this enough, since it seems many many people do it, is the obligatory splash intro screen. Why do you need it? What purpose does it serve? I can see it for sites where a disclaimer, obvious copyright notice, or one of a select few reasons are needed ..... but what on this site seems to require it?
</rant>
Other than that the site is nicely laid out, the graphics fit, and overall shows a nice presentation.

Like i said the site is designed for 1024x768 resolution for the best fit to your monitor. You can try it in different resolutions for better understanding.
The background sound is actually from "Enigma" and that is sound of the thunder/rain and you probably heard some bells. It has nothing to do with fire ! :D
The whole purpose of the splash screen was make the surfer ready to navigate through pages. You will see a lot of index or in your words splash into screen in personal websites. And as you can see that index.html loads faster than any other page!
I don't have to put the disclaimer/privacy policy on the site, it is good enough to let people know that site is copyrighted.
thanks for the comments!
My only suggestions are that you take the part about just getting a domain off the first page and that you make the site work well in any screen resolution. Also, you could center it in the browser window since it doesn't fill the screen.
I think your design is fantastic. In response to grymwulfs rant about intro pages, I think it totally depends on the targeted audience. If you are trying to demonstrate your artistic and design cababilities, its entirely appropriate. Its like the first page of a book, with just the title. or even the cover of a book, with the illustration and title. Intro pages are not appropriate for stuff like.. lets say... electronic component distributors, where you go to check stock and pricing several times a week. Nobody wants to see an intro page on a site like that, its just aggravating. I can't hear the fire/water sound since I don't turn my speakers on at work. I don't mind rants, btw. I think its great when someone feels strongly enough about something to actually voice a dissenting opinion. If they just agree with me, I figure they don't care enough to take time to disagree.
Anyhow, if you have your resume on your site, I assume its meant for more than just a personal web to share with friends. Or maybe i'm just wierd, because I wouldn't show MY resume to friends.
I like your drawings/desgns, btw. Why have you only done one drawing in your entire life???? what are you thinking????!!!
: )

I designed this site for geocities and because of their adds(right top) i had to align my design to left. I might center it thanks for your idea!
