Which version of Mysql are powweb running?
Standard or Max.

Is 4.0.12 different from 4.0.11a or is that just a different name for some bug updates?

Orion.powweb.com never seems to have problems and is up for more than 15 days and mysql01 seems to bee up and down every hour or so.

Haldabee,

That's true, it seems some of the servers have no problem with the new mySQL as it resets properly, but it seems to be the same machines that are tempermental and keep going down.

The same thing happens on a couple of text boxes me and a co-worker are working on. One will reset, the other just sits there and says "reboot me" and gives erros. And they both got the same config. It's bugging my co-worker as he going through each box's configuration.

I just went to phpnukes site and got a shock

There are currently, 483 guest(s) and 56 member(s) that are online.

That would be 7 clicks per person and it would be off for an hour.
I sure hope they are on a dedicated server :)

I sometimes wonder how this forum stays up.
I am sure when there were 191 people on they would have looked at more that 20 pages per hour.

They're hosted by RackShack, whose cheapest plan is $99/month, based on a whois of phpnuke.org.

Translation: For a small fee of $92.22 extra per month, you too can get unrestricted mySQL and never see an error from your board again!

Maybe PW can offer a $77.77 month plan! :D

Somehow, when I think of "RackShack," I think of a major electronic parts chain... :D
