A small boarding school website that 11th and 12th graders made. Some highlights are #360 panoramas and digital video (slow). All of the HTML for the current project was done by hand, without an editor.

All of it's hosted on powweb. This was last year's semester project.

I loved the color scheme. I always like to see color changes in table cells. The logo looks nice for not being a graphic (has it's advantages). Looks nice!

On a humorous note: Read the following paragraph.

"::Future Projects
Future project:
The class spent a class period brain storming about the future project. We came up with the Family School History. This will include stories from staff that worked here, the number of students that were present, and the extra-curricular activities that that students played along with much more. "

I take it from this that English is not a course being taught there? LOL - just kidding - might want to first:

Between the :: & Future there should be a space since that's the style of the 2 previous topics.

No need to add after the ":: Future Projects" headline the "Future project:" prefix to the paragraph.

And something about the sentence "The class spent a class period brain storming about the future project." just seems to be formed poorly. Try: "The class decided for our next major project to create a Family School History section. This area will include stories from staff members, alumni, and students about their experiences here at the Family Foundation School. We anticipate also being able to include details about the extra-curricular activities of our students, and an archive of other articles to help flesh out the history of the school."

Some other details on the current project -

The change from the main menu layout to the other layouts is unnecessary - a consistent layout and approach would provide a more polished and professional look.

The "Snap Shots" section doesn't have any sort of thumbnail gallery - or even a subtotal of how many pictures per gallery. Perhaps for each gallery a rotating image script could be used to pull an image from each gallery to be used randomly to visually depict the subject matter.

For the "Calendar" section you may want to consider having it automatically go to the current month, and have a menu, or other selection method to go the the individual months.

Another suggestion - since it seems that the Current Project is for the journalism class, you could teach or incorporate a "Blog" type structure and have your students or the Journalism students contribute daily/weekly to this so as to incorporate the importance of deadlines, grammar, concise wording, and spelling into the lesson plans.

Just some ideas....

I also agree that it would be nice to have a consistent design from the first page to secondary pages. You could probably incorporate some sort of highlighting technique on the second page design to use as your intro ( i liked it better)

Additionally, on the 360 panoramas you have no vertical scrolling, yet the panorama is cut off on an 800x600 resolution. Be sure to emphasize to those learning that you should design with miniumum 800x600 resolution as at least 10% of users utilize this setting.

Other than that, looks very nice. Well done class!
